The Guangdong Textile Engineering Society, the Guangdong Institution of Engineers, and HKITA – Certification Ceremony of Guangdong- Hong Kong Mutual Recognition of Engineer Competency Evaluation

In order to strengthen the exchange and integration of textile engineering and technical personnel in Guangdong Province and Hong Kong, promote the mutual recognition of the ability evaluation of engineers in the Greater Bay Area, and promote the flow of talents and collaborative innovation and development in the Greater Bay Area. HKITA cooperates with the Guangdong Textile Engineering Society, the Guangdong Institution of Engineers in carrying out the mutual recognition of the competence evaluation of textile engineers in Guangdong and Hong Kong.

 

On 29 Jan 2024, the Guangdong Textile Engineering Society, the Guangdong Institution of Engineers, and HKITA held a certification ceremony for the first batch of Guangdong and Hong Kong engineers in the textile field in Qingyuan, Guangdong. HKITA Chairman Prof. Kan Chi Wai attended this ceremony and presented certificates to the first batch of engineers certified by Hong Kong in the textile field.

Chairman Prof. Kan Chi Wai attended Qualifications Framework “Ceremony and Sharing Session for Fashion Industry”

In order to appreciate HKITA for actively promoting the Qualifications Framework (QF) and participating in the “Recognition of Prior Learning” mechanism, HKITA Chairman Prof. Kan Chi Wai was invited by QF to attend the “Ceremony and Sharing Session for Fashion Industry” held in Xiqu Centre, West Kowloon Cultural District on 12 October 2023 (Thursday) to receive the commendation.

HKITA 30th Anniversary Dinner was successfully concluded on 21 July. Thank you for all the guests’ participation, wish you all enjoy the dinner.

 

HKITA are honored to invite the representative of the Guangdong Institution of Engineers and the Guangdong Textile Engineering Society to participate in the dinner. It is hoped that there will be opportunities for closer cooperation with institutions in the Greater Bay Area in the future.
