Professor K.W. Yeung - Vice Chairman

Professor K.W. Yeung is the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science & Textiles and the Chair Professor of Textiles & Clothing At The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received his Ph.D Degree in the Queen's University of Belfast, Northern Ireland. For the past 26 years, Professor Yeung has been devoting a lot in teaching and research. Prior to his current appointment, he was the Head of Institute of Textiles and Clothing. Under his leadership, the Institute has become, in the global context, one of the best deparments in the textile education. Currently, Professor Yeung is actively involved in cooperative projects in the application of coloration technology and consultants for quality management and technical enhancement in the Textile industry.

Mr. Lau Man Po - Honorary Secretary

Mr. Lau Man Po is Lecturer of Institute of Textiles & Clothing of The Hong Kong Potechnic University. He is a specialist in fiber studies and science. He received his Higher Diploma in Textile TEchnologh and Master of Philosophy from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has published lots of pyblications in the past 10 years. One the other hand, he has also involved in the in-service courses and consulting jobs for the local textile industries.

Dr. Yuen Chun Wah Macrus - Honorary Treasurer

Dr. Yuen Chun Wah is the Assistant Professor of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and member of China Textile Engineering Society. He was awarded the SDC Silver Medal of the Society Dyers and Colorists in 1998. Dr. Yuen received his Higher Diploma in Textile Chemistry at the Hong Kong Polytechnic and Obtained MSc & Ph.D in the Queen's University of Belfast in UK. In the past, he has released lots of publications about the uses of dyes and coloring.

Dr. Zhang Zhiming - Coordinator of Publication Committee

Dr. Zhang is the Associate Professor of Institute of Textiles and Clothing of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received his Bachelor degree in China Textile University, obtained Master and Ph.D at the Unversity of Maryland in the United States. He has more than 30 years experience in the textile machinery field.

Mr. Yeung Hok Woo - Coodinator of Education and Training Committee

Mr. Yeung is currently the Chief Executive of Intertek Testing Services Hong Kong Limited, supervising regions like Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea. He graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University majoring in Textile Chemistry, and obtained a master degree in Warwick University concentrating in Industrial Engineering. He is now taking the post of Honorable Committee in The Society of Dyers and Colorists in UK, having over 20 years of experience in quality testing of textiles products.

Mr. Fung Cheuk Wai - Coordinator of External Membership Committee

Mr. Fung Cheuk Wai is the Senior Lecturer in the Fashion and Textile Department of Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education. He has 17 years working experience in clothing production and vocational education. He finished his Higher Diploma course in Fashion and Clothing Technology at the Hong Kong Polytechnic and MBA at the Warwick University in UK.

Mr. Cheuk Hon Kin Kelvin - Coordinator of External Affairs Committee

Mr. Cheuk currently is the Director of Fong's National Engineering Co Ltd., mainly responsible for the sales and marketing department. He received his Higher Diploma of Textile Chemistry and Diploma of Textile Management in Hong Kong Polytechnic. He also obtained his Master Degree of Chemical Engineering in the Queens Uiversity and MBA in the Monash University of Australia. He has more than 16 years experience in the Textile Engineering field.
