The module emphasizing the development of seasonal collections for the fashion industry. At least four garments are required in the collection. Focus is on creating original, marketable design concepts. Having successfully completed the module, the students will be able to:
(a) Develop a portfolio containing original design work, flats and specifications, photographs, and available trend resources.
(b) Develop and expand their knowledge in fashion design with increased awareness of production requirements and market implications
(c) Prepare at least four garments in a design collection and present works for the final assessment presentation.
